Game-day Outfits

Baylor football is back which means it's time to show our love for our school by attending the games and dressing to support our bears! The best starting place for a perfect game-day outfit is your favorite Baylor t-shirt!

Any t-shirt that supports our bears will work, but I prefer to use an oversized t-shirt that has been cropped a bit and is quite worn in. Additionally, layering is always a good way to add something to an outfit. For example, throwing on a shirt with a mock neck underneath automatically gives your outfit more depth. As the temperature continues to drop, we can continue to keep warm by adding layers. That being said, the student section will always be packed and keeping warm is not going to be an issue. But don’t worry, there are still many ways to add layers to an outfit that won’t cause discomfort during the game. There are many long sleeve shirts made of mesh that can add both depth and interest to your outfit; we are now seeing mesh long sleeve shirts that are even printed! By pairing one with a t-shirt, you instantly bring personality to what used to be a very basic outfit.

Another way to layer a simple Baylor t-shirt is by pairing it with the popular exercise dress by Outdoor Voices. This look is almost a staple Baylor campus look and is great for football games!

You can figure out what bottoms to wear depending on how much you like to dress up for game-day. If you like a more casual game-day attire, then you can pair the t-shirt with a tennis skirt, shorts, or simple jeans. If you like to be dressed up a bit more for game-day, then you might want to go for a maxi skirt or bell-bottom jeans.

In my opinion, you can really show your personality through the shoes you wear. Whether you want to wear sneakers for comfort or cowboy boots to stand out, either one has so much variety that you can use as an outlet to either stand out or blend in. Additionally, accessories can be used to amplify your outfit and show some personality. Grab some gold hoops, layer some necklaces, and throw on your clear stadium bag for a full look!
