Quarantine Makeup Routine

We have already passed the one month mark of quarantine and there is no definite end in sight. For the first couple of weeks, I enjoyed wearing pajamas and no makeup every day. That got really old really fast.

Now, I love putting in the effort to get dressed for the day and wearing just a little bit of makeup. It makes a huge difference in my day. Wearing a full face of makeup feels wasteful since I’m not going anywhere, so I wear a minimal amount. This small amount makes me feel good for my quarantine schedule.

Here’s what I’ve been wearing in this season of life:

1. Skincare- The first thing I do is apply an oil to my face. Right now, I am loving this Vitamin C Serum by Glossier. This gives my face a nice glow and is moisturizing. Next, I make sure to put on a hydrating lip balm. I have used this one by Kiehl’s for years.

2. Face- To cover blemishes, I use Glossier’s Stretch Concealer. After that, I apply Cloud Paint in Beam. I haven’t been wearing foundation or powder lately to let my face breathe.

3. Eyes- As for my eyes, I brush out my eyebrows with a brow brush and curl my eyelashes with a curler. I then apply a couple coats of mascara. I have been loving this one by Maybelline

That’s it! It’s a super easy routine, and it takes me no time. This look is perfect for any Zoom meeting. :)
