Favorite Holiday Fragrances

The holidays are nearly upon us, and I have to be honest, I cannot wait. This year has been tough, and we all deserve some holiday cheer right now. And a little holiday cheer means checking out some fun, new, and classic holiday fragrances. (Well, at least for me it does.) So, I’ve compiled a list of six scents embodying that cozy, fall/winter weather with varying florals and warm spices.

Without further ado, here are fragrances you should check out this holiday season:

Oil Perfumery’s Impression of Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille

It’s a well-known fact Harry Styles wears Tom Ford’s Tobacco Vanille, and let’s be real, if I’m not smelling like Harry Styles, then what am I doing with my life? Now, the fragrance from Tom Ford ranges from $155-$650 depending on the size, and that’s definitely a steep price. The good news is Oil Perfumery has a dupe that’s on sale for $14.95 and has a 4.8-star rating. You can check it out here. It’s described as warm and spicy with key notes of oud wood, rosewood, cardamom, sandalwood, vetiver, tonka bean, and amber. Yummy.

Glossier You

The fan-favorite makeup brand has a fragrance! I’ve heard incredible reviews about Glossier You, and the proof is in the pudding: it won fragrance of the year in 2018 by The Fragrance Foundation. It’s described as being warm, creamy, and earthy with dark and light notes of musk, green iris root, and spicy pink pepper. The fun thing is, it’s supposed to smell different on everyone due to our unique skin chemistry. It really would be a perfume just for “you”!

Zara’s Red Vanilla

It’s no secret Zara offers stylish yet affordable fashion, but did you know it has fragrances that also live up to the brand’s hype? They’re in the $20 price range, but don’t let the price tag fool you -- they’ve got some sweet-smelling hidden gems. Zara’s Red Vanilla, moreover, has been deemed a winter favorite fragrance. It opens with light and sugary, fruity notes later accompanied by warm vanilla and praline that delicately cut through the brisk winter air. Basically, it’s a great go-to scent!

Anthropologie Tocca Cleopatra

Describing the Tocca collection as “Feminine through and through,” Anthropoligie’s Tocca Cleopatra will be your next holiday favorite. It’s another classically spice-oriented scent with amber patchouli, vanilla musk, and lingering notes of tuberose and grapefruit. I mean, talk about getting right to the point with those staple fall/winter scents!

Their down time oil promotes relaxation and tranquility with lavender, juniper, cedarwood, and ylang-ylang essential oils and is perfect for getting zen this holiday season.

You guys...Cosmopolitan made a perfume, and it sounds amazing. Eau de Juice 100% Chilled is literally supposed to smell like that feeling of being snuggled up in a cashmere blanket. It’s floral, warm, and sweet with delicious blends of red berries, bergamot, orange blossom, cashmere woods, and more. You’re going to get seriously cozy with this scent.

And that wraps things up, folks! These are six must-have scents for the upcoming holiday season. So, may your holidays be fun, merry, and most importantly, smell incredible!
