How To: Pun Halloween Costumes

Halloween is one of the best times of the year, but it can be a stressful time if you forget to plan a costume. If you did forget, then it might be time to get creative. Every year, I dress up in some kind of pun costume because they are easy and always get lots of attention. Here are some creative and easy ideas for pun costumes that I have done in the past!

Ceiling Fan

On Halloween night, hopefully you’ll be a Baylor fan at the football game, but that’s not the only kind of fan you can be! Dressing up as a ceiling fan can be as easy as writing “Go Ceiling” on a shirt or sign.

Self-Absorbed

Glue sponges to a shirt or sweatshirt, and if you want to take it one step further, glue pictures of yourself to the sponges. Boom! You’re self-absorbed.

Leaf Blower

This one couldn’t be more simple: attach a leaf to a string, tape the string to the brim of a baseball cap, and blow.

Smartie-Pants

Spooky season can be 4.0 season! All you need for this costume is some spare Halloween candy and a pair of old pants or leggings. Glue some Smarties onto your pants, and if you want, grab some nerdy glasses and suspenders.

Pirated Movie

Got a t-shirt of your favorite movie lying around? Just get an eye patch, and you can be a pirated movie! This one doubles as an RRRRRR rated movie.
