If running in the Bearathon left you with actual bear paws for feet, a good foot scrub might be just what the doctor ordered. With the dawning of sandal season, you definitely don’t want to miss out due to a few calluses and blisters. If you’re on a budget or lack the time to visit a spa, this DIY foot scrub is a great and inexpensive way to get your feet feeling smooth and healthy again. Leave the rough paws to Lady and Joy!

1 cup Coconut Oil:

Great for moisturizing

1 ½ cup Epsom Salt or Sugar:

Both will help exfoliate your feet; however, Epsom Salt also reduces pain and swelling as well as soothes your muscles and joints.

Essential oils of your choice:

Peppermint, lavender, and lemon will be best for deodorizing your skin. The number of drops or different oil combinations is completely up to you. A standard dose is about 10 drops of oil.

1 1/2 tbsp. honey:

This has natural antibacterial properties as well as minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants to help heal blisters, sores, and  cuts.

1 tbsp. Rosemary:

This is also a natural deodorizer as well as a gentle exfoliant.
